Festival First Night

So, a couple of days ago (January 10th), I attented Sydney Festival's Festival First Night.
ITWASAWESOME.
I think it could've been funner with some friends 8D. But there's always next year I suppose :3. And the year after. And the year after.

Sydney Festival

It was featured on the news/the-shitty-tabloid-version-that-is-a-current-affair last night. It showed lotsa music and fun and dancing. Like; the Chokkers (sp?), an Aboriginal group, putting their own spin on a traditional Mediterranean dance.

Sydney Festival is Australia's largest and most
attended annual cultural event running every January since it was first held in
1977. Its program features more than 50 events including classical and contemporary
music, dance, circus, drama, visual
arts and public lectures. Its indoor and outdoor
presentations attract an estimated 1 million people annually.

So why have I never heard of it? Last year, they had Bjork ! Anyway; it looks very interesting and I want to go. But I was too much of a hermit to ring up people last night. Some friends and I just might go tomorrow :3, seeing as how SydneyFest goes on 'til the 31st of January. Oh, and I guess I'll go with my 'rents tonight. First night is always the best <3.

First post of new blog; the first for oh nine.

Nothing much to say at the moment, except that the guys at Slipstream Anime inspired me to blog again with their member blogs. & also; I've moved here from Live Journal because even I got sick of my non-posting there. Hope Blogger keeps me motivated <3.
